“Arkiteknika: I’m Wired with a Green Mind”

Calling all University of the Philippines Architecture and Landscape Architecture alumni! You are invited to the General Alumni Homecoming on March 7, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. to be held at Building 1 of the College of Architecture at UP Diliman, Quezon City .

Hosted by the UP College of Architecture Alumni Foundation, Inc. (UPCAAFI), the homecoming with theme “Arkiteknika: I’m Wired with a Green Mind” will coincide with the celebration of fifty-two years of the UP College of Architecture and the University of the Philippines” centennial year this 2008. UP College of Architecture Dean Danilo Silvestre III and UPCAAFI president Archt. Edwina Consunji-Laperal will lead the homecoming event that will also include election of new directors for the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and voting of amendments to the by-laws.

Also part and parcel of the UPCAAFI line-up of events for the centennial year are badminton, bowling and golf tournaments in March, April and August, respectively, quarterly lectures, tree planting at the College grounds in July, painting sessions, an art exhibit and auction, and a fundraising raffle in September. Funds raised by the alumni shall be turned over to the College of Architecture for upgrading its facilities, implementation of its programs for students, faculty and staff.
