Arki Week 2008

IBALIK NINYO SA ARKI PARTY ANG MGA ARKI BANDS! During our time in the 90s there would be bands playing all night long, bands coming from the various organizations, as well as those from outside of the college. Ibalik ang kultura ng rakrakan sa UP Arki!

ARKIWEEK 2008


The UP College of Architecture invites everyone to join in its celebration of the Olympic Spirit to go Faster Higher and Stronger for 2 grand weeks of fun and excitement during this year's ARKIWEEK celebrations entitled ArchiTORCHure: Design of Olympian scale.


This year's long set of activities include:

August 19 :
Launching of ARKIWEEK, ASC Design Challenge at 10am
Interbatch Olympics featuring select professors from the college at 1pm

August 20:
Big Buddy Auction at 10am
Arki's Got Talent and The 2008 HIYAS NG ARKI PRE-PAGEANT PRESSCONFERENCE 2pm

August 21:
Comic Book Workshop at 10am
Film Showing (Free Admission)
CHINA: Past Forward at 12pm
Inside the Forbidden City at 5-7pm

August 22:
Inauguration of the New UPCA Computer Center 10am
Launching of The Workshop: UP ARKI Concept Store 2pm
The 2008 HIYAS NG ARKI Coronation Night featuring THE SINS 5pm

August 28:
SYMPOSIUM
MARATHON: The Architecture and Planning of the Olympic Host Cities 530pm

August 29 - 30:
BREAKING GROUND: The Landscape Architecture EXPO 2008 9am-5pm
brought to you by the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects in partnership with the UP Circle of LA Students (UPCLAS)



Tickets for the 2008 Hiyas ng Arki Coronation Night are now being sold at 20 PESOS each.. Please approach any UP Architecture Student for more details on purchasing Tickets.
